Cassandra Caverhill is a Canadian-American poet, editor, and creative writing instructor. She is the author of the chapbook Mayflies (Finishing Line Press, 2020) and a winner of the AWP Intro Journals Award. Her work has appeared, or is forthcoming in, Five Minutes, The Malahat Review, Moss Piglet, In the Moment: Green Verse anthology, and Short Reads. She is a graduate of Bowling Green State University’s MFA program in poetry.
Cassandra also earned a certificate in editing from the University of Chicago and an honours BA in drama and communication studies from the University of Windsor. She’s an avid music collector and concert-goer who cut her teeth programming for radio, interviewing bands, and writing record reviews. She lives and works in her hometown of Windsor, Ontario.
